My Listening Party/Aural Skills Training🎧🎶

Aural Skills, or ear training, is a music theory method to help those who strive to “play by ear” You will learn sound in meaningful patterns--developing a hearing mind and a thinking ear. This is a fun way of combining listening and performance activities to master music internally. Wikipedia defines aural training as: "Ear training or aural skills is a music theory study in which musicians learn to identify pitches, intervals, melody, chords, rhythms, solfeges, and other basic elements of music, solely by hearing. The application of this skill is analogous to taking dictation in written/spoken language.” Don’t let all that musical jargon scare you…. Because consistency is key, and all it takes is a will to learn aka have fun listening to music! Certain frequencies are better and faster than others and we will share with you which frequencies have been the most effective with music theory students.
