This is a replay from a live event on July 16th, 2023. We will be diving in to some shadow work with this one, choosing to reflect on our inner journey so far, and releasing pieces that no longer serve us. Yup, this one is going to be deep. Please check in with yourself to assure you are ready to dive in with me as there will be prompts for this one as well. This is perfect if you are ready move past stagnate and stuck energy, and welcome in a deeper understanding of who you are at your core. This breathwork will use mostly alternative and rock songs with a splash of hip hop and pop, or anything else that feels aligned, as I see fit. We will be breathing together for about 30 minutes, and allowing the music to help us embrace the themes of this card, particularly around our own shadow. It's time, friends. This journey may include some laughing, crying, anger, ecstasy, and any other response you can think of. It is important to allow the emotions, whether they feel positive or negative, to sit with them, and then let them go. My goal for this event is to help you move through these themes with ease and with the goal of letting go of anything that stands in your way. This is an opportunity to breathe through the emotions and allow them to pass. They come up to be healed.

There are some body effects that can happen as we breathe. Some people become cold, hence having a blanket is helpful, while others may become hot. Some may have some cramping in their hands or face, which is a normal response to breathing in this way, too. If at any moment you feel uncomfortable with the breath, please return to your normal state of breathing until you feel comfortable, then pick up the breath cycle again. I am not a medical practice and I’m not medically trained. If you suffer from any serious condition you should check with your medical practitioner prior to breathing with me. This style is not advised for conditions such as acute heart conditions, epilepsy, delicate pregnancy, asthma, and some mental health conditions, too. If you’re unsure, breath normally through the first session, and pay attention to how you feel. Breathwork is a space to be imperfect, so follow whatever your intuition or your body is suggesting for you to do. Lastly, please give yourself time to ground after this exercise before driving or doing any other task that demands your full attention.
